ABOUT FREMONT COUNTY CATTLEWOMEN

What Do Cattlewomen Do?

We support the Cattle Industry in Fremont County, promote Beef Products on the market, and give out new easy Beef Recipes to the public.

Each year we award two colege scholarships to a local high school senior who is pursuing an education in an AG related field. Download application here

We provide a free lunch to all 4-H members and their familes who work on "Clean Up Day" before the Fremont County Fair begins.

We annually fund "Colorado Readers" - AG in the Classroom materials for 6 classrooms in Fremont County schools.

We provide scholoarships for three teachers to attend the Summer AG Institutes.  This five-day college level course provides hands-on experience great resources and materials to help educators integrate agriculture and natural resource topics into their accademic curriculum.

We provide "Beef Certificates" for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparents Day and National AG Week.

We serve a B-B-Q Beef lunch at Senior Mini College each March at Pueblo Community College, Canon City Campus, right here in Fremont County.

Our Prayer

We thank Thee, O Lord,

That we as women

Connected to this vital livestock industry,

Can have, if we so will,

A basic understanding

of our dependence upon Thee,

and our irrevocable obligations

to stabilize Thy bounteous resources

and a deep gratitude for Thy wonderful works

to us, Thy children.

We thank Thee for the inspiration

of the teachings of Jesus Christ,

Knowing that....

if there is RIGHTEOUSNESS in the heart

there will be BEAUTY in the CHARACTER

If there is BEAUTY in the CHARACTER

there will be HARMONY in the HOME,

If there is HARMONY in the HOME

there will be ORDER in the NATION,

IF there is ORDER in the NATION,

There will be PEACE in the WORLD

AMEN

Time is a tool,

use it well
